At Ash Grove we believe that it is important that children gain historical knowledge and understand the importance of how the world has developed chronologically through time. Our History curriculum at Ash Grove provides enriching lessons that allow children to dive deep into the past, understanding how people’s lives have shaped this nation and how Britain has been influenced by the wider world.
Our aim is to ensure children are not only learning about the past but are developing a love for History and how the diversity of societies and relationships between different groups has evolved, as well as how their own identity has had an impact on civilisation.
